{"id":3772,"date":"2025-09-22T12:26:35","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T10:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alfredgera.com\/2020\/?p=3772"},"modified":"2025-09-23T08:15:38","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T06:15:38","slug":"sales-executive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alfredgera.com\/2020\/updates\/sales-executive\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Executive"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ref No: AGS039<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Company<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alfred Gera &amp; Sons Ltd. is one of the leading distributors in Malta&nbsp;specialising&nbsp;in the distribution of pharmaceuticals&nbsp;and personal care products.&nbsp;Committed towards&nbsp;excellence, we represent&nbsp;global and prestigious household names&nbsp;and offer&nbsp;specialised healthcare related services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We take great pride in our reputation as a company of integrity, fostering an environment where our team members can grow and build fulfilling careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Sales Executive <\/strong>to join our Sales Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regular servicing of the allocated outlets \u2013 all outlets are visited periodically (as required):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Order taking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicating of any promotional deals or offers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring the proper display of the company\u2019s products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building a strong business relationship with clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generally ensuring that the company\u2019s products are well represented in the said outlets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarisation with the products being sold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Penetration into new outlets as appropriate to the products and if instructed to do so following discussion and approval by the line manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding brands or ranges into current outlets \u2013 as advised by the Business Manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiating for better shelving level and better shelf space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collection of outstanding debts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handling of complaints received from customers having to be escalated to Business Managers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring promotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsibility towards after-sales service like for example faulty items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-going collection of market intelligence and passing on same to brand management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieving budgeted sales as prepared on a regular basis \u2013 both at brand\/product level and overall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum qualification and education:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O-level standard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other competencies:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Computer literate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong personal selling skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly driven and motivated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply with the form below or submit your application letter and a detailed CV to&nbsp;recruitment@alfredgera.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications will be&nbsp;acknowledged and treated in strictest confidence.
