The Role

We are looking for a Brand Specialist to join our team. The role requires an individual who will be engaged in promoting products from a well-established company which operates within the beauty industry.

The Responsibilities

The Brand Specialist shall be responsible to promote and sell a range of premium hair and skin care brands. Further responsibilities shall include:

  • Growing business relationships with key decision-makers, namely customers and influencers;
  • Meeting with healthcare professionals to promote the brand and its related products;
  • Carrying out consultation sessions with consumers;
  • Preparing presentations for current and potential customers to promote and educate the healthcare providers on the product portfolio;
  • Cultivating and maintaining long-term business relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders;
  • Attending sales meetings, conference calls, and training sessions;
  • Developing and maintaining deep scientific understanding of assigned and competitive products within the market place;
  • Researching competitors’ products and their respective market performances;
  • Utilising the company’s reporting systems to gather and record market intelligence data;
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in the related field to determine the effect of such developments on the company’s business strategy.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should understand multimedia campaigns and how to develop the right messages for the appropriate channel and consumer. Furthermore s/he should possess strong communication, organisational and management skills, with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders within the organisation.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Marketing or a related field or prior experience in a similar role. Furthermore, the selected applicant should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. A passion for beauty, a can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond will be considered an asset.

The chosen candidate is expected to be fluent in Maltese and English and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, s/he must also be in possession of a clean driving license.
